AliphaRice™ ACID-10 - (10% w/w Pre-Dispersed Fluid VLCF Acid Matrix)
ELIMINATING THE FACTORY ENERGY BOTTLENECK
In large-scale cosmetic manufacturing, working with natural Very Long Chain Fatty Acids and Fatty Alcohols poses a massive operational challenge. Because these raw plant waxes and isolated fractions possess exceptionally high melting points (often exceeding 75°C to 80°C), traditional production lines are forced to run heavy steam boilers and energy-intensive high-shear heating plants for hours just to liquefy and blend them uniformly into an emulsion.
If the temperature drops too quickly during mixing, the batch suffers from “crystallization shock”—causing the waxes to snap back into hard, grainy micro-solids that ruin the product’s texture and clog factory nozzle lines.
AliphaRice™ Pre-dispersed fluid concentrates eliminate this processing bottleneck entirely. Through our localized Cascade Biorefinery Model, we have engineered an ambient liquid delivery system.
By pre-dispersing these specialized long-chain fractions at a concentrated 10% w/w dosage into a non-ionic, water-dispersible lipid grid, we lock them into a permanently fluid, milky-white macro-emulsion state.
For a contract manufacturer, this is an immense operational victory: AliphaRice™ Fluid allows a factory to cold-process advanced long-chain lipids directly into a product tank at ambient temperatures.
You save immense steam energy, cut production cycle times by up to 40%, and completely eradicate the risk of graininess or batch crystallization shock.
INTRODUCTION & TECHNICAL CLASSIFICATION
The AliphaRice™ Fluid series consists of 10% plant-derived, pre-dispersed fluid lipid concentrates in an aqueous carrier.
AliphaRice™ Fluid ALC-10
Delivers a stabilized stream of Very Long Chain Fatty Alcohols, serving as an ambient structuring agent that boosts emulsion elasticity.
AliphaRice™ Fluid ACID-10
Delivers a fluid stream of Very Long Chain Fatty Acids, serving as an easy-to-blend barrier-repair active that can be added at any phase of production.
SUGGESTED USAGE & COLD-BLENDING PROCESSING GUIDELINES
Recommended Formulation Dosage:
5.0% to 15.0% w/w depending on the target viscosity and barrier-repair claim requirements of the finished product.
Processing Protocol:
Unlike traditional waxes, do not heat these materials in an oil phase tank. Because they are pre-dispersed fluid matrices, your production team can pump and introduce them straight into ambient water phases, finished bases, or post-emulsion cooling tanks using standard low-shear paddle mixers.
