With a strong academic foundation, Dr. Sawant has earned his Masters Degree in Organic Chemistry followed by a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai. To hone his patenting skills, he successfully completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University. His commitment to quality and excellence is further underscored by his certification as a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems. During his stint with various industries Dr Sawant has garnered key skill sets to strategize vision and mission for sustainable growth of organizations, identify, initiate, and execute long/short-term research programs, network effectively across stakeholders to create win-win situations, and expertly plan resource development and deployment.
